Headquartered in Munich, Germany, DoPchoice has provided a fresh take on light refining accessories for the world’s top light fixtures since it’s founding in 2008 by Stefan Karle.

The cinematographer/inventor has created and built lighting tools with more compact and lightweight designs, that are easier to use and faster to set-up - to meet the needs of gaffers, cinematographers and rental houses, worldwide.

Ultra compatible SNAPBAG^® Mounting

Our RABBIT-EARS^® allow soft boxes to be mounted firmly in under three minutes. This new fastening system replaces the heavy and cumbersome speed ring standard for mounting DoPchoice’s SNAPBAG^® soft boxes on lighting fixtures. They are available in five form-factors for Medium, 3’, 5’ or 7’ octagonal soft boxes.

Re-design of the softbox

SNAPBAGS^® combine DoPchoice’s self-tightening solution with an instant snap-up softbox. No speed rings are needed, so less can go wrong. Tightening takes about 30 seconds. Patented SNAPBAGS^® efficiently create soft light with no spill. They are designed for lighting an area up to 8ft by 8ft.

Revolutionary SNAPframes

DoPchoice’s proprietary SNAP Technology, revolutionary self-tightening SNAPFRAMES and an innovative mounting system make a gaffer’s life easier by ensuring a taut fit when grids are used in a softbox or frame. Patented SNAPGRIDS^® utilize this technology for an all-in-one solution.

BUTTERFLY Grids

Smartly engineered and meticulously sewn, BUTTERFLY Grids feature the company’s hallmark instant set-up and work with most popular brands of lighting systems. They can be used to precisely direct the light with any softbox without sagging, in an area up to 20-ft x 20-ft.
