It works by bouncing a light source off a reflective surface (like ultrabounce or muslin) and then diffusing it again through a secondary layer—usually a diffusion fabric. A conventional booklight setup typically involves bouncing a powerful light source off a large white surface - like an ultrabounce or muslin - and then diffusing it again through a separate frame. This creates beautifully soft, indirect light, but requires multiple stands, large modifiers, and careful flagging to control spill. The setup is bulky, time-consuming, and difficult to move once built.

The AIRGLOW^™ Booklight solves these challenges by integrating all key elements - bounce, diffusion, spill control - into one compact, inflatable system designed for modern LED panel lights.

Yes. Dedicated SNAPGRIDS^® are available for each AIRGLOW^™ Booklight size. Light Controlling Devices (LCD) add directionality and control, reducing spill and tightening the beam without compromising the soft quality of the light.

The AIRGLOW^™ structure uses a dual-chamber system. This works similar to a car tire - with a durable outer tube and a removable inner tube. Once inflated, it can hold air for 4 weeks or longer without needing a refill. The outer layer is extremely robust, designed to withstand heavy on-set use. While the top frame uses an outer tube for extra durability, the pillow beneath the fixture is optimized for light performance and skips the outer shell to ensure minimal loss in output.

If needed, the inflatable chambers can be easily repaired. The inner tube is accessible via multiple zippers and can be patched using a standard TPU repair kit (available on Amazon or in most outdoor gear shops). This makes maintenance quick and cost-effective on set or on the go.
