Frequently Asked Questions

Barndoor Fit & Flexfit SNAPBAGS®

What’s the difference between a Speedring mount and Barn Door Fit?

Speedring mounts require a dedicated ring adapter for each fixture type. Barn Door Fit skips the ring entirely - just slide the SNAPBAG® over the barn doors and secure it in the filter holder.
It’s faster, lighter, and reduces gear clutter.

Flex Fit vs Barn Door Fit - what’s the difference?

Barn Door Fit is made for fixtures with barn doors and filter holders - it mounts directly onto them.
Flex Fit, on the other hand, uses a bungee cord system to wrap around round-faced lights, making it a great multi-fit option across different fixture sizes.
