DoPchoice introduces the latest addition to the popular AIRGLOW™ series: THE AIRGLOW™ FRAME. Designed for maximum versatility, this inflatable light modifier is tailored to work seamlessly with flexible light tiles, including Litegear Bi-Color Litetile PLUS and the new Spectrum Ultra LiteTiles. With a lightweight, inflatable 180mm tube structure forming a rectangular 4’x2’ or 8’x4’ frame, it provides a soft, yet controlled lighting source ideal for both studio and location work.

Easily maneuvered or lofted into place, the AIRGLOW™ Frame allows users to mount and rig tile lights anywhere. The 4’x2’ Frame accommodates one row of Spectrum4, while the larger 8’x4’ version supports two rows of Spectrum8 Tiles. Both attach via hook-and-loop for effortless and secure setup. For ultra-soft, controlled diffusion, the AIRGLOW™ Frame also features a DoPchoice SNAPCLOTH™ front diffusion attachment.

When not in use, the inflatable Frame can be deflated and rolled up for compact transport and storage—even with tile lights still installed.

Why do you need the AIRGLOW™ FRAME?

The AIRGLOW™ FRAME transforms flexible light tiles into a large, soft, and directional light source. It makes your LiteTiles easier to rig and shape, giving you soft, even illumination with excellent spill control—all in a lightweight, inflatable frame that’s quick to set up and transport.

What is the difference between a “conventional” top softbox and the AIRGLOW™ FRAME?

Unlike conventional top softboxes, the AIRGLOW™ FRAME is ultra-light thanks to its inflatable design, making it faster and easier to rig. It also directs any spill light upward rather than outwards, reducing unwanted light on your background and improving control on set.

How long does the air hold in the AIRGLOW™’s inflatable structure?

The AIRGLOW™ structure uses a dual-chamber system. This works similar to a car tire - with a durable outer tube and a removable inner tube. Once inflated, it can hold air for 4 weeks or longer without needing a refill. The outer layer is extremely robust, designed to withstand heavy on-set use. While the top frame uses an outer tube for extra durability, the pillow beneath the fixture is optimized for light performance and skips the outer shell to ensure minimal loss in output.

How do I repair or maintain the inflatable parts of the AIRGLOW™?

If needed, the inflatable chambers can be easily repaired. The inner tube is accessible via multiple zippers and can be patched using a standard TPU repair kit (available on Amazon or in most outdoor gear shops). This makes maintenance quick and cost-effective on set or on the go.
